Happy Norman

Meet Norman. He joined our family a few months ago when we were looking for little ones to keep Sven company after his cage mates sadly and unexpectedly crossed the rainbow bridge. We saw him at our local pet store and it was love at first sight. With his cute spotted face and outgoing personality he wrapped himself around all of our hearts almost instantly. Even though he was likely over a year old and we didn’t know a lot about his upbringing (he was owned by a teenaged girl who could no longer care for him) we decided that we would do our best to love on him as long as we could.

As you can see, and hear if your volume is turned up, he is quite content here. It never takes long for him to begin bruxing. Usually a few seconds of neck and ear rubbing is all it takes for him to ‘click’. Norman, as we dubbed him, is a bit of a contradiction in personality. While he runs to the door of his cage to greet the humans who come to visit, he doesn’t necessarily want to be held and snuggled tight. Curiosity makes him wander wherever he can, but he always comes back to make sure we’re nearby.
